Aerials

Is there someway to add aerials in your drawing and be able to plot with them? I know with the Bing maps, you can view but not print. Has anyone used the esri plug in?

As of right now the only way is use Data Connect or map image insert (MAPIINSERT) with a saved imaged on your network, or using 3rd party add-ons Or WMS/WFS servers connections.

As for the ESRI add on, I have no idea what one you are referring to.

Many georeferenced aerial photos can be downloaded from state, county, national, town, city web sites.  These  as Murph states can be inserted and printing is not a problem because the photos are public domain.  You may have to do some searching and downloading and/or make a trip with a portable hard drive, but scavenging data is part of the fun of mapping - GIS :).

Where on earth are you looking for photos?
