3D Landscape

Hello everybody,

I have a terrain model (geotiff) and a satellite image (geotiff).

When I drape the sat image over the terrain and switch to 3d I get the 3D drapped image but not in full resolution.

I want to print the 3D model but in full resolution.

Anyway I can do that?

Thank you.

Regards.

ik

Hi,

can you upload screenshots, one showing the image 2D and the other showing the draped version?

Have you compared only the screen or also the plot-result?

I realy didn't think of checking the plot.

The image is OK (full res) but now I have a different problem.

It is in perspective view as I have it in modelspace but it does not keep the 3D effect.

It is just a 2D perspective plot - no 3D terrain underneath.

Any suggestions.

Thank you.

Hi,

what visual style did you assign to the viewport, should be something like "realistic" and not be overriden for plot.
