2 GB of RAM Memory and "Not enough memory" error

Hi.

Using 'AutoCAD Map 3D 2010' I'd like to perform an intersection with two SHP layers, but when trying to do it I get an error message:
"Not enough memory to complete the overlay analysis"

I've got 2 GB RAM Memory and I think it's the recommended ammount, isn't it?

Any similar experience? Edited by: macwind3 on May 6, 2010 3:12 PM

I must to say that AutoCAD Map 3D was installed with 1 GB of RAM, and I've increased it up to 2 GB just today.

Thank you very much.

Don't get "REQUIRED" and Recommended mixed up. For 2010 version 2 gb Ram is
"required", recommended 2+ gb ram depending on your operating system.

I think anyone who has run AutoCAD products for any amount of time have had similar experiences. I will help if you let us know what OS, how you page file is set up, if you are using the 3GB switch and anything else that might affect the RAM usage.
