Create feature from existing entitie

When I connect with FDO on some datasource and than I want to add some new entities that are Autocad object, in Mapwspace pallet there is a function "Create feature from existing object".

Anyone know where is that function/method in API? What is procedure for this to work?

Hi,

There is no direct equivalent API functions for those UI features, however, based on your FDO schema and geometry types you can create FDO features using Map 3D Geospatial Platform API. Please look into the MgGeometryFactory class which has the functionalities to create different types of geometries.
