    modifying property problem

After I finish drawing a project, I like to move
things to other layers to break it down more.  My problem is, that when I
select certain groups of items, I can't see the layer drop down in the modify
property box.  I can only get it if I break it down by block
reference, Polyline, line etc.  I am unable to change the layer
on "ALL" because it does not give any design data.  Is there a
setting that would allow me to change properties on multiple items?  Hope
this makes sense, it all comes down to a modify properties dialog box
    problem.

    Thanks,
    Mike

    Hi, Mike:

Select your objects \ right click, choose Edit
Object Display \ choose Layer \ select a lay you want \ OK.

    Hope this helps.
