Schedule Taging - XRefs and Paper Space...

Can anyone confirm some issues with adding leadered Schedule Tags on objects nested within the Xref and tagged in paper space?

If the data changes in the structural member (this case) in the child dwg (the xref)... and the dwg is saved after the change... once the xref is updated in the host dwg (where the xref happens) doesn't the schedule tags update to the most current data?

We discovered that we can tag mep objects with the tag in paper space... (news to me)... the tag is on our tool palette and is set to get a leader. On some objects, when you select the object in the xref... the leader wants doesn't position on the object, but instead goes to the world origin... 0,0,0 or at least near 0... the dwg model is located at, somewhat, a ridiculous distance from the world origin.... so this could be the problem.

    So my issues are two:

    1)  Edited property set data (in the xref) doesn't seem to update in the schedule tag (in the host).

    2)  Some leadered schedule tags... the leader arrow wants to go to 0,0,0 and not on the object selected for the schedule tag.

Have you checked to make sure the xref is set to attach and that you do not have an override on the PSD?  You should be able to utilize the "PropertyDataBrowse" command to look at the files and there associated objects that have PSD attached to them.  Make sure that you do not have a green checkmate on some of the objects.  This would cause the tag and schedule to read what was in the host file and not what is coming from the xref.

I have always had issues with the leader arrow in AMEP since ABS 2006.  It is also a known issue with the most CAD applications if you are working an extremely large distance away from 0,0.  Have you tried moving it back closer to 0,0?
