Hey!
I wanted to know if it is possible to print lengths, part type, etc. from an MEP file when the programming is standard. Otherwise, what is the recommended course of action for getting a LISP tool that exports lengths & part types from a file into excel? What our company wants to be able to do is get a material print out list to cut down on material costs. We are an electrical contracting company. Are there LISP programmers whom you can pay to create a lisp command for you? What is recommended?

You do not need any programming to achieve this functionality. Autocad MEP utilizes property sets and schedules to create bill of material lists. There is plenty of information in the help file on how to achieve this. If you are a more visual person then you can watch a 4 part series of videos on youtube that are excellent and explain it perfectly. The first video in the series can be found here.

I hope this helps.
