When you install AutoCAD MEP, by default it places 3 icons on your desktop.  US Imperial, US Metric and Global Metric.  The US Metric has pipes, duct, equipment made to Imperial dimensions, but shown in metric units.  For example, you may buy a Carrier rooftop unit.  It is made here in America and to dimensions in inches and feet.  The length of the part stays the same in AutoCAD MEP, but the dimensions are shown in metric.  That's what US Metric does.  So use that profile, the names will still be in metric, so you may need to mentally convert it to Imperial.

    Hope this helps.  Merry Christmas.

Not worked, US metric has the pipes in mm. It worked when I changed the units to the US imperial but not very good, it removed some diameters from the list. I mean, with the same material and system, etc, in inches it allowed me to put 3" diameter tube, but now it only allows me to use 2 1/2" and 4", not 3". Any ideas? I have seen that changing the catalog path may be a solution. Do I need to make anything special to change the catalogs that is using?

    Thanks again!
