AutoCAD MEP

I intermittently get the following error when opening or checking out drawings from the Vault. Anyone know what is causing this problem? Could it be a setting within Vault or possibly a software installation issue? I am running MEP 2012 Thanks in advance, Earl

I know this is not addressing your question, but , I was curious about using Vault with ACAD MEP. We are a 80 person MEP consulting firm and I was looking to hear your thoughts on Vault and what added value it brings. Are you using the base version of Vault? Are you using Project Navigator for your projects.

Any insight would be very helpful and much appreciated.

Vault is a useful tool for managing a directory of drawings. Vault has search tools similar to Microsoft Access. You can determine the status of drawings with a few simple clicks. You can setup multiple projects within Vault to make it easier for multiple users to share and access information.  This eliminates the problem of over-riding another person’s work.  We are using the basic version of Vault included with Autodesk 2012 suite.

Thanks for the thoughts Earl. I think I will further investigate using Vault here.
