INSERTING VIEW DRAWINGS INTO SHEETS

I am fairly new to using projects. I create a sheet and drag a view dwg onto my sheet from the project navigator. It iserts the entire view dwg which is way too big for the sheet. Is there a way to insert just part of the view dwg (set boundries). or is the only way to accomplish this, to adjust the size of the viewport once the view dwg is inserted?

Open the View drawing, set the scale and create a named View of what you want to see. Save. This named view will appear under your View drawing in the Views tab. Then, instead of dragging the whole View drawing onto the Sheet, you can drag the named View which will come in at the scale you have set.
