    HVAC Label Height Question

I'm running AutoCAD MEP 2012 and I am having trouble figuring out how to change the label height. If you go to the HVAC tool Palettes and choose the Annotation tab the Label tool is very helpfull, but it defaults to 6" text and the teacher wants us to use 4.5" text at 1/4"=1' scaling. How do I change this?

The default labels out of the box should all be 4.5 inches tall and 3/32" tall when printed in paperspace at 1/4" scale.  If you go into your style manager under document objects and then label styles you can choose the label style you are using and change the text style.   The height of the text is controlled in the text style which can be accessed from the style command.

I never mess with the height of the text.  I set my styles to annotative and let the software do the rest.  It is set to print at the industry standard.

Mine are 6" tall at 1/4" and 1' and 1/8" outta the box. I've done a reinstall repair and its still 6". I'll try the other suggestion you made thanks.
