    Flange gasketing

I'm looking for a way to add gaskets of any thickness automatically when a pipe flange connection is made, i.e. threaded, slip-on, weldneck flanges face-to-face. I see the Property Set for gaskets included in Pipe Objects but I seem to be missing the nomenclature that MEP Help wants to see in order to pull up those commands.

Those gaskets listed in the property set are data only.  They are just used for scheduling.  It is possible to create a mvpart that has the thickness that you desire and insert it manually between two flanges.  This will give you the correct thickness and will also give you correct scheduling abilities.

p.s.  The mvpart would just be an extruded circular profile along a path with a flanged connector on both ends.
