I have recently been trying to coordinate some sockets in 3D on a vertical dado trunking only to find that the plan view symbols have also been rotated so that they just appear as a line. What I want is the plan view symbol displayed with its rotation about the Z axis only (ucs world) rotation about the X & Y axis's should be ignored. Any suggestions.
On a similar theme the plan symbols often need to be larger than the physical size of the device they represent. Where the density of sockets is high the symblos often overlap if they are of a legible size, is there any way of ofsetting the position of the plan symbol so that it doesn't overlap while leaving the 3D object in its correct 3D position.
