I have a drawing from a customer that we are to use to put the conduit on an electrical plan. The problem is with displaying there components in our drawing after we copy them into it. I assume it is a display setting that allows them to show up. They are using the MEP design for there display configuration. When I use the same display configuration, some of the lights do not show up. If I use MEP Presentation, they show up. How can I sync the two drawings so they display the same?
I am using MEP 2012.
Thanks

The easiest thing to do is to open up your display manager with both of the drawings open. In the display manager, right click on the drawing that has the good display settings and chose copy. Then select the drawing with the bad display settings and select paste. This will copy all of the display settings from one drawing to another. Just as a warning though, it will copy ALL display settings over. If you just want to bring in specific display settings, then you will need to expand each drawing in the display manager and copy over just what you want.
The display manager in Autocad MEP is one of the hardest things to truely understand about the program. Some people just get it and some don't but once you master it, you will find that getting your drawings to look exactly like you want it can be quite easy.
Oh yea, the display manager can be started by typing displaymanager at the command line or by going to the manage tab on the ribbon and clicking the display manager button on the styles and display panel. Hope this fixes your problem.
