The diffuer tags seem to only accept numbers for CFM rates. Lots of times we use a plenum transfer return grille & do not list a CFM rate, we use a dash instead. Is there any way of getting the tags accept this value?

The diffuser tag uses an automatic property of the diffuser to get the cfm.
You can modify this by editing the property set definition for the diffuser.
Currently the MvParts-AirTerminalObjects property set has an automatic
property called CFM-Act. You can delete this automatic property and create a
new manual property with the same name set it's type to text and you will be
able to enter whatever you want in the field.
