What happen to the Structural Catalog in MEP 2011?  It use to be access from the format menu drop down.  I have it install and can locate it on the hard drive but I cannot seem to figure out how to access from ACAD.  I jerry rigged by adding to my tool pallettes but I would like to have back the way it use to be.  Why does Autodesk continually try to fix things that aren't broke?

    Hi,

You can use the "Where is my command" from the help (little arrow next to the interrogation mark icon in the application title bar) to see where the commands can be located in the ribbon. If you are used to the menus, this will help you to find the items in the ribbon.
As you will see, the Structural catalog is available by default only in the architecture profile.

If you do not want to use the architecture profile, you can add the commands in the MEP profile:
    - Open the customization interface (command CUI).
    - Expand the menu tree "Ribbon" > "Tabs" > "Manage - ACA".
    - Drag the item "Style and Display - ACA" and drop it to the ribbon tab "Manage HVAC" (assuming that you work with the HVAC workspace).  If you use other workspaces, you will have to copy it also for the other workspaces, for example "Manage Piping", "Manage Plumbing".
Now you will have an additional tab in the Manage ribbon that contains the structural tools.

Another possibility is to go to the "Panels" in the CUI and then drag&drop only the tools that you want from the "Style and Display - ACA" to the "Style and Display - HVAC".
