Having just received AutoCAD MEP 2013 and discovering that there are still no (NONE) proper UK parts included in the package. I'm assuming that there NEVER will be.

    Cheers

Surely this far into the MEP story we should have SOME decent parts now? Most of the stuff I do involves cable tray, for example I've just drawn a basement with hundreds of miles of the stuff and the sections and views I've produced look awful because pretty much EVERY fitting (tee piece, bend and changes in elevation) is inverted, giving the impression I've stuck a piece of ductwork in the middle of it! Come on Autodesk, pleaseeeeeee sort this out!

    Please???

I still don't believe that they have EVER spoken to a UK engineer.

There are a 'couple' of gusseted bends in the Medium Duty Return Flange I think, but I also seem to have problems where I use two or three different types of cable tray at once-if I draw a load of tray, and then a trunking system, when I try to do a tee off of the cable tray it will continue to use the trunking and I get all kinds of weird and wonderful layouts!

Hopefully one day soon we'll get what we want...

There's one 90 degree bend and that's not even drawn correctly, try a gusseted 45 or a gusseted tee or any other type of gusseted fitting.

How about an offset tee or offset crossover for three compartment trunking? have you tried one of those?

    Have fun

    Cheers

To be honest I just kind of 'cobble it together' now, and try to get as close to how it will look when installed as possible...which is both tedious and time consuming....but hey, at least the piping and ducting stuff is better!

I'm not loading 2013 on for a while...I think my company is investigating other alternatives to MEP, but there doesn't seem to be much available...the cable tray issue is a big problem for us.

I have done as you suggested, but I'm not expecting any satisfaction.
