2 blade boat propeller in 3D

I'm trying to model a 2 blade prop and could use some tips.  I've tried using Helix with a 3/4 turn and a Sweep with a clam shell polyline  (ie; ()  ) and it is close, but not quite.  This is just for looks in a 3D model, not for manufacture.

    Thanks,

This may not work better than Sweep, but you may want to try the Loft command instead.  You could place a series of polyline shapes in sequence and use the guidelines to refine the appearance of your model.

    ductman,

Thanks for the reply.  I ended up using a thin oblong spline and then Sweep with a 80 degree twist.  I then used the original oblong spline, scaled it down a bit and then used Loft to make the blade end.  I mirrored the blade and placed it on a 3D cylinder.  Came out pretty good, at least for what I needed anyway.
