preferences/system definitions

In future releases is it possible to include the pipe and duct preferences (routing, insulation, parts, and connections) in the pipe and duct system definitions? When working on a project it is typical for one system to have different parameters such as: HVAC Branch Piping up to two inches requires the material to be copper tube or threaded black pipe, the pipe insulation is typically 1-1/2" thick. The HVAC piping above 2" would be welded or grooved, the insulation would be 2" thick. The supply duct would be insulated or lined, but the return duct might not. The duct run-outs would have take-offs but the mains would require tees. If all the preferences would be tied to the system definitions, this would save a lot of time changing the preferences and also have less chance for error. -- P. Temporale PFC Consulting & Design
