    Customizing Shortcut Menu

I am trying to figure out how to customize the right-click shortcut menu. I want to put all the "Basic Modify Tools" back into the main part of the shortcut menu, like it was in previous releases. I use these commands a lot and it would save some time if I didnt have to wait for the second pop-up menu. I went through the help menu and it said that I can customize the shortcut through the acad.mnu file, but I cant figure out which part refers to the shortcut.

    Hi Wick.

Are you talking about customization of the
menus the BS2004 release? If so, look for the loaded menu file BSDT4.mnu
instead. (Per default located in: C:\Documents and
    Settings\yourusername\Application Data\Autodesk\Autodesk
    Building Systems 2004\R16.0\enu\Support

Modify this file, then run menuload and
reload the modified  BSDT4.mnu (to recompile the menu
    file)

The menu item I think you are interested in is
    the ***POP501 thingie.

I have made a new menu file to simplify the
identification of each menu item, (just added the ***POP# to each menu) load
this one first instead of your original mnu file (use menuload unload the
    original file and load mine)

Before you do anything, please make a back up copy
    of your original BSDT4.mnu

    Hth

    /Hakan

    Wick -

Some people have trouble seeing attachments when they come in on
the web based side of the newsgroups.

Try this as it works for some who have difficulty seeing
attachments on the HTTP side. To see a file from the web-based
interface, go to the thread, and, instead of scrolling down to
the post, go to the "Message Thread" Pane and click on the
poster's name. The lower pane will reset itself at the top of the
post, and you should be able to download the file.

    or

Two things Under Tools>Options> Security Tab ... uncheck "Do not
allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be
    a virus."

And when you are using the Web, be sure to click on the name in
the top right before clicking on the attachment in the lower
    right.

    or

First Left Click on the message in the upper right pane. After it
reloads the thread, you can Right Click and "save target as" or
Left Click and it should prompt for a save location.

    or

If you are accessing the newsgroups from the web-based [HTTP]
interface, in order to have access to an attached file in any
post but the first post, you need to find the right
name/date/time in the "Message Thread" pane, directly above this
pane. Click on the name, and that will cause the selected message
to appear here. You will then be able to download/view the
    attachment,

I have tried everything and still cannot get the attachment to appear. I can get to the customer files area, is there anyway that you could post the attachment in there? Thank you for dealing with me and my issues!!

check your email and see if the file I sent arrived? The name is
BSDT4(popinfo).mnu and it is 2101 bytes.

    Hey Hakan,

you had helped me out with this shortcut a while back. I just got a new computer and transferred all of my files. For some reason, although I saved the entire support file, I loose the custom shortcut. I tried deleting all of the BSTD files except the .mnu. Once I go through the menuload and load the mnu file, I loose all of the other mnu files that were already loaded. How can I get the custom shorcut back without loosing the other files?
