transferring option settings from ABM2

The office manager here wanted to know if it is possible and/or worth the
effort of trying to copy over the option settings from ABM2 to ABS3. I
could not find any information on this when I did a search, has anyone tried
this and if so, was it worth it?

TIA,

Hi Gene -

I won't say that it's not possible, because just about anything's possible,
but I would say that it's probably not worth the effort. Are you trying to
"maintain" everyone's individual settings or do you have a standard set of
changes that you want to make to the profile "Out of the Box"? If the
latter, you could probably handle this with a few scripts and some reg files
(assuming everyone installs to the same path).

Jason,

I believe she wanted to know if she would be able to keep the office
standard settings but we have talked about it more since I first posted and
decided that after I have my computer running to match all office standards
with ABS3 option settings, custom toolbars, etc. they will then be copied to
other stations at the same time ABS3 is installed.

Thanks,
