Hi Slawomir!
The best way to learn how to create tags is in my opinion to look on the
already created tags and see how they are built up. I'll try a short
description here and please post back if/when you get stuck.
1. Create a propset definition with the info you want to display on the tag,
_aecpropertysetdefine
2. Create attributes where you define which propset and which property to
display, att
In the Tag prompt write: "PROPSETNAME:PROPERTYNAME" (substitute with
your properties)
3. Block the attributes, block
4. Create MVBlocks of your block, _aecStylemanager
5. Create your tag using the, createcontent, command (here it's very useful
to look at the existing tags)
Use Custom command and your MvBlock, Anchor type: Tag, use an old tags
commandline and change it to reflect your specifications, save to your
current dwg
6. Copy your dwg to somewhere in the AEC content search path (Default
somewhere in: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application
Data\Autodesk\Autodesk Building Systems 2004\R16.0\enu\AEC Content\)
then the tag should be available in the Design Center
However we still have one problem here, the neck size for diffusers,
unfortunately, isn't available to the propsets.
However, I've created a "strange" propset where I try to analyze the Style
String on the Device style (using formulas) and sort out the neck size where
available. I've also created a tag in this dwg so just save it in the aec
content and try it out, and take a look at how I've created it. I'm Posting
it under the same header as this in the customer files area.
hth
Thanks
/Hakan
