Rendering problem.

Ok, this is starting to drive me nuts...

I have a fully coordinated basement layout (pipework, cable tray, ductwork etc) and whenever I try to render it absolutely nothing is produced. The render window opens, but all I get is a black image. Nothing is shown. I've tried rendering the actual model file. I've xref'd the model file into a brand new template (wilth all my materials etc loaded) and it doesn't work. I've tried it with the default lighting and I've added point lights. I've rendered plenty of times before and it's always been fine. Can somebody please help?
