Problems deteriming correct annotation/drawing scale factor

I'm modifiying some stock switches as well as creating my own, and I'm
running into an issue with the size of the switch S. I want it to come in
at 10" in a 1/8th scale drawing with an annotation scale of 7/64" and I
can't seem to figure out the special conversion factor.

Can someone please shed some light on this for me??

Thanks in advance!

Nevermind.... I found the answer in a previous post... I think it was from
Matt Dillon???
I have to multiply 7/64 x 96 (for 1/8" scale drawing) which gives me 10.5.
I then divided 8 (the height that I want the text to be in the drawing) by
10.5 which gave me 0.761904.

This is how high the text needed to be in the "source" drawing.
Just to clarify... I'm creating a new light switch and I want the sub-letter
or switch designation to be 8" high in a 1/8" scale drawing with an
annotation scale of 7/64 so I made the text height of the switch designation
0.761904. So the resulting text height is 0.761904 x 96 x 7/64 = 8".

Hope this helps to clear some of the fog for others....
