Overrides for devices and wire not working

I'm attaching overrides to devices and wires to force layering the override is not working the devices and wires are inserting on the system layer instead. By the way linetypes and color seem to work fine. Has anyone seen this and know of a fix. I'm shure that it worked in building electrical 2.

I have additional info the problem is affecting all layer overrides for electrical and mechanical. It works correctly on another system. The funny thing is setting the override color to by layer it will take on the layer color of the layer override. A complete unistall of all autocad product and reinstall did not correct the problem.

Hi Will -

I haven't been able to reproduce this so far. Have you tried one of the
drawing that the "current" machine is using on another system (maybe
template related???)

I don't think it is template related I tried it out after a complete reinstall of BS3 and using default template with no fix. I did install an office update earlier in the week that caused a little havoc on the system could that be involved.

I have the overrides working now. It seems that the system needs an attached override for overrides to work within.
