MEP Electrical Panels

I have been trying to incorporate electrical panel schedules using the EPD without any success.  I want to utilize the features MEP has instead of importing excel charts.

I already have drawn up a drawing and used my own blocks regarding electrical devices, i.e. receptacles, lighting, etc.  The reason is because I cannot seem to annotate the ones already defined like I can when I create the blocks.  So, when I select the panel I want, I go in the properties and select "No" under the Create circuits.  Once I put the panels where I need them I go into the circuit manager to adjust the data for each circuit.
When I select the panel that needs updating, the panels are there but there are no circuits to change.  I define each panels as I select it from the tool palette, adjust the settings from properties before I place them on the drawings, but I have to do it all over again to display the circuits that needs adjusting. Once I get the circuits to display, numbers start from 32767= instead of "1". I went through the tutorial from the AU but I cannot seem to get this to work.
Any tutoritals out there regarding this topic would be appreciated greatly!!!!
Thanks!!

You should check out the 2010 Electrical Tutorials, found http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/item?siteID=123112&id=12749859&linkID=9240935.

Make sure to read the readme file and download both tutorial documentation and supporting content.

Hope this helps,

Joshua

At the top left, click on the Autodesk logo to get to the autodesk.com site.  Then click on the "Support" heading to go to the support page.  At the right is a drop down list of additional products "Select A Product."  Drop that down and select AutoCAD MEP.  It takes you to the AutoCAD MEP support page.  On that page, at the left is:

Support

Resources

Documentation

Data & Downloads

Training

Community

Consulting

Click on Training.  Then click on Tutorials.  Then on Release 2010.  Download the English - Metric tutorials.

Hope this helps,

Joshua

Thanks for the help!!!!

I seem to get more support here than by purchasing live support from a 3rd party company.  They are good too but when I visit here to post a problem or have a question, someone from the forums always replies with a solution very quickly.

Also the turtorials that are on the site are free and very informative where buy purchasing live support from a 3rd party company I would have to purchase "time" in order to watch a turtorial.  I have time credited to my account but hesitate to use it because I'm finding similar tutorials through autodesk.

Thanks again and I greatly appreciate the support from the active members and the Autodesk team!!!!!Smiley Very Happy
