I would like to link AutoCad to MS Excel to automatically update AutoCad with the information in an Excel file.
I have a building floor plan (2-D drawing) and would like to place different colored (maybe up to 3 different colors) dots at unique and non-changing points on the drawing. The colors would not change. I would like to only vary the diameter of the dots based on different values (that can change with the spreadsheet) located in an Excel file. There might be as many as 300 values linked (300 different excel values linked) to different dots.
I would like to tell AutoCad to update to the new values in the Excel file. The link doesn't have to be dynamic or automatic.
Is there a way to easily do this?
