Label text height

How is the label text height set? I looked under properties and under style
definition to no avail. i had hoped the labels were mview blocks that could
be manipulated using the Display System, but they're AECB_LABEL_CURVE
entities. What's the secret?

Regards,

Emmanuel

It is my understanding that Label Text height gets is controlled by
the text style.
If the text style is set to 0, then control passes to what is set on the scale
tab of the Drawing Setup dialog box.
In this case the height of the dwg is determined by useing Arch scale and
Annotation Plot Size.
In other words... arch scale of 1/8"=1'-0 is 90
and Annotation Plot Size is 3/32"
then the text height = 96" x 3/32"
If on the other hand the text style is set to 3 for instance then you label
text height will be just that.

Excellent, Mike. That did the trick. You're the hero of the day. I'm curious
how you found this out.

Emmanuel

Eased Frustration.
our eng department wants 5/64 text for labels departing from firm standard 3/32
for smallest text.
a text style dedicated was the only solution
