How to set constant length for transitions

Building systems seems to like adding long transitions to rectangular duct work, but short transitions to round ductwork. I need all transitions, no matter how small, to come in at around 12". Hoe can I do this?

Hi J -

To do this you will have to modify the content to maintain a constant
length. If you will go to Mechanical -> Duct Fittings -> Rectangular -> Add
Duct Fitting Transition you should see 4 available choices for duct fitting
transitions. Select the Rectangular Angle Concentric Duct Transition Banded.
Now click on the Part Filter Tab. You will see that this fitting allows you
to select the transition angle for you. This isn't exactly what you want,
but it will give you a good idea of how to get what you want. This fitting
was built with the new parametric content builder. With some fairly simple
modifications to the adjustable angle transition a user can build a constant
length transition.
