Hi Rob -
Haloed lines work only in 2D plans and in sections and elevations. This is
by design, as if they were calculated in 3D views the slowdown you see with
sections and elevations would be nothing.
The Haloed lines calculations are extremely processor intensive and that is
one of the reasons they only work like they do today.
Currently, there is no way to enable haloed lines in "3D" views.
