End of line schematic symbols

Is it possible to force a symbol to attach to the very end of a schematic
line? Currently, if a symbol is added to the end of a line, it offsets the
symbol away from the endpoint. This works fine for most symbols. Just set
the "Trim to object" setting and it looks fine. However, not every symbol
can conform to this. The attached image shows two. The Y-Connection works
if it is inserted on a vertical line, but not a horizontal unless I rotate
it . The only line cleanup that comes close to working is the "Bounding
Box". But even with this, it leaves a tick mark between the two connection
dots on the right. Any ideas?
