Whenever I try to add a duct, my MEP 13 program crashes'

How are you adding the ductwork?  Are you using the palette, the ribbon or just using the ductadd command?  If you are using the palette have you tried just typing the ductadd command to bypass the palette tools?  In other words we need more information to try and figure out what is wrong.

I have used both the palette and the ductadd command. To use the palette I
simply click on the duct command first but the palette does not shown any
ductwork definitions, and when I click on the duct command, the computer
crashes.
