Duct Lining & Insulation

Hello ...

I am new to MEP 2012.  I am looking to find out how I change the color and line type for the duct lining and insulation.

The quickest and easist method is to right click on a piece of ductwork and select edit object display.  From there click on the bolded display representation and it will open up the display property dialog.  Here you can turn off the lining, edit the color, the layer, or the linetype.  To edit the layer, the layer must already exist in the drawing.   Editing it in this manner will also change the lining display for duct fittings and flex duct.  If you need it to change colors in more than one display representation, you will need to make the change in EACH display representation.

HELLO EXPERTS,

MAY I ASK ANOTHER QUESTION?

When I draw a duct size 300 without lining, MEP show 300mm.

Then when I add lining 50mm thick, MEP just simply draw inside 300mm duct.

That is WRONG !!

The 300mm duct with 50mm lining should become 400mm(300+50+50) duct, with free area dimenstion 300mm.

Thank you.
