Hi Matt,
You should not see the System as a fourth level in the display hierarchy
that are above the Style in the hierarchy. I would rather say that the
System override is used instead of the Style and Object override. As long as
you don't override the display on the Style or Object the display settings
from the System are used. But if you override the display on the Style or
Object the normal ADT hierarchy is used and the System display settings are
ignored.
I hope I manage to clarify how it works...
