Differences between 2011 and 2012

Which is better?  2011 or 2012?

Are their any new custom objects that are not compatible?

Are their any differences in performance/bugs?

Overall better, worse, or about the same from 2011 to 2012.

I am not a user.  I only download and build the deployments.  But someone who may be asked which is better.

I'm impartial of course, but try 2012.  It is faster than 2011 in some areas and we fix a lot of issues every release.  2012 is also the first release where we had a full year of development "after" Windows 7 was released.  Yes, 2012 and 2011 are the same file format and so they are interoperable.  My last recommendation is to download both if you have them from subscription.  Install them on a test station and have a user try both for a while.  Do some testing in your local environment and determine what is best for your company.  I'm sure you will receive more suggestions from others here in the forums.  You may receive suggestions towards one or the other as users share their own experiences.  In the end, you will need to make the call as to what works best in your environment.

Hope this helps.

Joshua

I'm just following up.  Are there any other opinions out there?  Was my information provided earlier helpful?  To anyone out there, feel free to offer your experiences here.
