Change MVPart Color

I am trying to change the colors of the linework inside a air terminal in ACAD MEP 2012. I have used Block Editor to change the orginal lines in the block from ByBlock to red for example. During the insertion of the mvpart it shows the correct colour but when placed it converts the entire object to the assigned layer key color.

In the attached screenshot you can see the inside of the diffuser is green as i insert it but the entire object turns blue when placed like the diffuser on the left.

Made you a video.

Limitations:

Can only be done with a Block-Based MvPart.

Can only be done by changing the Display for MvParts from Plan, to use 2-Line.  This means no Hidden Lines when an MvPart is below another object.

It would be a great new feature though.  I do believe that this would be very helpful to have in the program, and feel that you raise a very good case for enhancing the product.

If you would take the time to go here:

This is a feedback page where customers can make suggestions. This page is monitored by product managers who affect real change and this request can go a long way in changing the product for the better.

Thanks for providing a solution. It is disappointing that you lose the hidden line funtionality.
