Hi guys,
I was wondering if there are other types of 3D software that you are using for Life Safety?
Do you use Autocad MEP or Plant 3D to show your design in 3D? Lastly, what sort of things have you been showing in a 3D setting, besides pipings or conduits?
Thanks.

Hi Kameron,
Life Safety is a pretty broad topic. More specifically, what are you thinking of modeling? Fire Protection piping and sprinklers? FP controls and wiring/conduit? Egress? Security systems? Smoke control and pressurization duct?
AutoCAD MEP has all of these objects and can be modeled in 3D. So does Revit MEP. CADDUCT/CADPIPE/CADMEP sits ontop of AutoCAD MEP and adds more features. Also check out Eastcoast CAD or Quickpen.
