AUTOCAD MEP TO SHOWCASE

Good morning,

I am exporting my model from MEP to Showcase and AEC objects (doors, windows...) don't appear. It only works when I use the Burst founction and convert them into blocks.

Is there a solution to keep them as AEC objets ?

In my testing of this, I was able to open my AutoCAD Architecture/MEP drawing in Showcase directly. I did not have to convert it or explode anything to get Showcase to be able to open the drawing with walls, doors, ducts, etc in the file and the objects stayed 3D and maintained materials, etc if they were applied in AutoCAD.

Short answer - don't do anything other than try to open the file in Showcase and see if that works for you.
