ACAD MEP level elevations to Navisworks

We always setup our ACAD MEP projects using the Project Navigator.  We assign the correct level elevations so that we can use the levels above or below for alignment and coordination within ACAD.  Is there a way to get that level information to transfer with the file for use in Navisworks?  When we export to .nwc or just open the .dwg in Navisworks Manage each level comes in at a Z of 0.  I know we can adjust the elevations in Navisworks, but that seems like an extra step to me.

Anyone have any luck with this?

No way to do it.  Navisworks reads the coordinate system of a drawing and since you are starting each drawing at an elevation of 0 then that is where navisworks is going to place it at.
