45 degree duct takeoffs

i know this has been somewhat addressed before but using add fitting whenever you want a takeoff at an angle other that 90 is way too cumbersome, especially since it worked in previous version. In addition, the take-off i did get to work at 45 degrees would not let me connect duct to it. any more suggestions...this is a very big problem for our firm.

Hi Tigger -

This isn't perfect, but... Try drawing from the "point in space" back to the
main, rather than drawing from the main to the point. That will allow you to
insert a takeoff at an angle other than 90.
