creating a materials takeoff in MEP 2013

Is there a way to create a materials takeoff in MEP 2013?  I was asked at work if i could figure out how to do this and I can't figure it out.  I'm fairly certain that in Revit there is a way to do a materials takeoff.

(materials takeoff: list of materials both quantities and types)

Is there an add-on to MEP that will help me with this?

PLEASE HELP!!!
