Wacky Ducts

I've posted a ZIP to the CF newsgroup (Wacky
Ducts) with my wacky ducts drawing.

In this drawing, I CANNOT change any of the duct
sizes.  They keep reverting back to their original size AND it doesn't even
give me an error message.

Can someone please take a look at it and let me
know what's wrong AND how I can fix it?

This is becoming a recurring problem with ABS4 in
our office.

Thanks in advance!

I too couldn’t modify the duct sizes but this was due to my duct catalogue being set to UK sizes. I changed the duct catalogue to US imperial and bingo, everything was fine. Try checking this in your options settings.

It's set to US Imperial, which it's always
been.

Anyone from NH want to chime in here?

Any reports of this happening to anyone
else?

More importantly... How do I fix
this?!?

Matt, It may help if you check you have defined the default connection types for your systems when you initially set up ABS4 as per :

http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/item?siteID=123112&id=2863482&linkID=2476435,

This also fixed the problem with your drawing on my system, It must be in this area to do with system definitions and catalogues etceteras...

The connection type for ALL ductwork in our
drawings is Slip Joint (which is what it is set to).

I tried changing it something other than Slip
Joint, clicked OK, then set it BACK to Slip Joint and it still doesn't
work.

Sure would be nice if SOMEONE from Autodesk would
chime in here.

Any other thoughts??

Okay... this is weird.

I re-opend the drawing, added a new duct (Supply
System).

Selected it, right-clicked, modify duct, and
changed it from 24" wide to 96" wide.

Now I can modify ANY of the ducts.

Is something not being initialized when ABS4 is
opened??

It just doesn't make sense.
Anyone??

Bueller?  Bueller?
