Toggling between overlapping lines

In AutoCAD 2000, there was a neat feature that allowed the draftsman to toggle between overlapping lines by holding Ctrl and clicking over them. I have yet been able to find a similar feature in AutoCAD MEP... Was this taken out or turned off? And if turned off where do I go to turn it back on?
Thanks

To cycle through overlapping objects, roll over the object on top, then hold SHIFT and press SPACEBAR repeatedly.
To cycle through overlapping subobjects (faces, edges, and vertices) on 3D Solids, roll over the subobject on top, then hold CTRL and press SPACEBAR repeatedly.

Or you can change your LEGACYCTRLPICK variable.
