System Requirements

Howdy,

We're about to upgrade a few of the computers at work and have just started running BS 3. I've been tasked with compiling a wish list in regard to the type of PC and how much grunt we require. I've looked at the published requirements, 1Ghz, 512mb, 32mb graph etc etc, and we cover all those bases with the current PC's but they struggle. Any opinions on what I should be asking for or what anyof you are running yourselves?

BS4 is supposedly coming out soon. The stated hardware requirements for this software dwarfs the BS3 requirements.

These are the listed requirements. More is always better, but in many cases,
less will work:

Windows NT 4 SP6a or later
Windows 2000 SP3 or later
Windows XP Professional SP1 or later
Windows XP Home SP1 or later
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or later
Pentium 4 1.4 GHz or later
AMD K7 1.4 GHz or later
512 MB RAM
1024x768 with True Color support
1.2 GB of hard drive space
Mouse, trackball or other pointing device
