Piping Tutorial

I am new to AutoCad MEP and I am trying to do the tutorials to learn more of the concepts. I am on the Piping tutorial, and I am trying to add pipe to a piece of equipment. It keeps giving me the error message that layout can't be achieved based on the part defined in the Routing Preferences. So I try to go to routing preference definitions and none of my options are valid all the fields say *none*

You can refer to the White Papers on the Autodesk website under MEP http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index?siteID=123112&id=8475436
If you are a subscription customer you also have access to all the AutoDesk University classes that are available online at http://au.autodesk.com/2007/?CFID=1350523&CFTOKEN=17915124

I have done a Piping Tips and Tricks class for the last 2 years at AU and both classes were recorded.

I actually just discovered the White Papers section yesterday, but the subscription customer aspect is one I hadn't thought of, although we are subscribers. Thanks for checking up on this, appriciate it.
