Piping Error

When connecting to an MVPart, 1 1/2" connection, I get the following error: "Unable to create the desired part in the size needed." It's just straight pipe, connection type is undefined in the MvPart, the piping connection type selected when adding the pipe is Brazed.

Any Suggestions.

Hi Jmcfaddn,

Which MvPart are you connecting pipe to? I picked
an MvPart that has a 1 1/2" Undefined connector and connected Brazed pipe
to it without any problem.

Thanks,

It's an MVPart that I created, the connector is undefined. Now can this be the issue:
My connector is 1 1/2", my pipe connecting to it is 1 1/2" but it has 1" insulation around it, so that the overall diameter is 3 1/2" with insulation, connecting to a 1 1/2" connector on my MVPart?? Just a thought. If I hit the OK button on the error, it appears the piping is still drawn.

Would you mind sending me the MvPart and have me
take a look?

Thanks,

It's the same Part that I am having the Modify Connector problem with, I just sent it so you can check both issues while your at it.

Thanks,

Jody,

It's a defect in Building Systems 3. Just click
'OK' in that warning dialog and you can still go from there. It has already been
fixed in Building Systems 2004.

Thanks,
