Issue with single letter commands after upgrading to 2014

Greetings,

My OS is Windows 7.

I started using AutoCAD MEP 2013 with the ribbon and became proficient with it.

Then we upgraded to AutoCAD MEP 2014, so now I have both on my computer.

After setting up the 2014 version, I noticed two items of concern with it:

  1. Inconsistent acceptance of default single letter commands (ie L, E, M). Example: I press L and then Enter, and it says no such command exists. I try again and again, and at some inconsistent point it accepts it. As I have no such trouble with MEP 2013, I had to revert to that.
  2. Perhaps this is related, but I noticed that the cursor jumps around inconsistently on the screen, even with snap off. With MEP 2013, the cursor moves smoothly.

I would prefer to use 2014, but with the issue over accepting single letter commands I cannot until it is resolved. Robot Sad

This was fixed after I changed the path of the AutoCAD icon to go to my profile.
