Inch and Feet

Hello,

When adding a size label to a pipe that is 12" it's written as 1'-0". Is there a way to make it go by inches? Does anyone refer to a pipe in plumbing as 1 foot?

Any help would be appreciated. Thank You

sounds like the format of the property set definition under format -> style manager -> documentation objects -> property set definitions -> pipeobject -> pipesize is set to "unit distance - feet and inches". change it to "unit distance - inches".

I meant Plumbing Line not Pipe. 🙂

not normally using plumbing line I am not sure, but I believe it has similar settings for annotations as pipe. you'd have to do some browsing around the property sets and definitions to find the one you want.

curious. This is in the plumbing module but the piping module with the same settings displays it correctly.

you could solve this by making a custom property set to display this correctly and then use that for the definition of the tag. thus there is a work around. do you know how to make a PSD?

but the default tag should do the same.
