Dissappearing MVParts

I am running into an issue with a 3d file. The file was set up previously using MEP2011. However recently as soon as you move any MVpart it dissappears in plan view but still remains in iso and section views. I followed advice on this forum to use the display manager and the schematic screened to get most of the MV parts to show up again. But things like VD and VAV boxes still do not show up. Also the parts that do show up (mostly registers and diffusers) have had their layers over written so that the do not display/print properly. But again it is only in plan view. Any help on this would be much appreciated!

Post the drawing file and make us a video so we know what to look for.  www.jingproject.com is a free video screen capture tool.

Your file was corrupted.  We did a Recover on the file and it found 4 errors.  We then discover5ed that Layer 0 was frozen.  Our MvParts will not display if Layer 0 is frozen.  We then used the command OBJRELUPDATE <select All by tapping the Enter key>, and all MvParts appeared.  We then tested a few by moving them to see if they disappear.  They stayed.  So I think it's fixed.  File is too large to be attached, so I will email direct to you.

I did not bother to audit or recover because the file is no longer in use, however unfreezing layer 0 did the trick, didnt even think of that! Thanks so much.
