‘Precision Drafting: Object Snaps and Object Tracking

 

You're invited! Autodesk® AutoCAD® and AutoCAD LT® users are gathering for a series of Hangouts designed to introduce you to the powerful features available in AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT. We'll show you time-saving tips and tricks that can be used to increase your productivity immediately. Some of AutoCAD's most precious features - and time-savers - are either buried in the documentation or have been lost in the upgrade shuffle; additionally there are many tools in the Windows Operating System that will increase your productivity.

 

This next session, ‘Precision Drafting: Object Snaps and Object Tracking,’ will demonstrate the use of Osnaps (Object Snaps), Osnap overrides and Otrack (Object Tracking) when drawing or modifying objects.

Employed at Autodesk as a Product Support Specialist, Volker has been working with AutoCAD and vertical products since 1991. Having worked for various Autodesk resellers since 1997, Volker has had extensive experience troubleshooting and supporting Autodesk products. In addition to having a background in CAD drafting and Management, Volker has instructed basic to advanced AutoCAD technical classes including sessions at AUGI CAD Camp and Autodesk University.
